A vintage Clairol Custom CareSetter instant hairsetter designed for creating tighter curls or styling shorter hair. The unit features a two-way setting system allowing for both mist and dry hairsetting. It includes a total of 20 patented Custom CareRollers, comprised of 10 small and 10 medium rollers, which are engineered with a smooth, velvety-soft surface and high-energy heat-holding inner cores. The appliance is housed in a tan and brown casing with a hinged lid that includes built-in storage for roller clips. Functional design elements include a ready-dot heat indicator, a back panel for cord storage, and a fold-out support stand to position the unit at a convenient angle. The hairsetter is presented in its original retail packaging with protective styrofoam inserts. Box width measured against a tape measure: approx. 11.5 inches. Condition: The appliance appears in clean condition and remains in its original retail packaging. The external cardboard box shows signs of shelf wear, including scuffing at the edges and corners, and retains an original retail price sticker. Electrical and mechanical functionality has not been tested.
