Two vintage wooden folk art trinket boxes, identified by labels as Polish in origin. The larger rectangular box features hand-carved and pyrography decoration with a central medallion of stylized moths or butterflies and heart-patterned borders, finished with dark brown and red stains. The smaller box is decorated with vertical bands of scorched-wood roundels and scrollwork separated by panels of dark green stain. Both boxes are built with hinged lids and feature unlined natural wood interiors. The larger box retains a retail label on the edge numbered 67797 and a corresponding label on the underside. The smaller box has a label on the underside numbered 67192. Dimensions (measured from ruler showing inches only): Larger box: approx. W 25.4 cm x H 5.7 cm Smaller box: approx. W 14.6 cm x H 5.7 cm. Condition: The boxes are in good condition with minor surface wear throughout consistent with age. The smaller box has a visible area of adhesive tape residue on the lid. Both hinges are intact and functional. No signs of structural damage or restoration.
