This pair of stylized animalier sculptures depicts bison carved from a heavily mottled crystalline stone, exhibiting a brecciated pattern with a palette of off-white, beige, and brown tones. The figures are rendered in a minimalist, blocky style with integral bases. The underside of one figurine retains a partial blue and white adhesive label with the printed text MADE IN USSR and a handwritten reference number REF 117-42. The surfaces are polished, highlighting the natural variance and crystalline structure of the stone. Dimensions: H approx. 3.5 in x W approx. 5 in. Condition: The figurines are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of repair. The paper label on the underside is partially detached and peeling.
