Two vintage lidded trinket boxes crafted from polished ornamental stone. The larger vessel is of globose form with a matching domed lid, fashioned from a mottled gray and white stone with dark, wavy veining. The smaller cylindrical box features a speckled black and white stone base paired with a domed white marble or alabaster lid. The lid is decorated with a pictorial representation of a small bird perched on a branch, rendered in yellow, black, and gray. Both pieces exhibit a high-polish finish and simple, turned profiles. Dimensions measured against a visible tape measure: Larger jar height: approx. 3.5 inches Smaller jar height: approx. 2 inches Smaller jar diameter: approx. 2 inches. Condition: The pieces are in good vintage condition. A partial paper label is present on the lid of the larger jar. Minor surface abrasions and natural variations or pits in the stone are present, consistent with age and material. Both pieces appear free of significant chips, cracks, or repairs.
