The rifle wears an octagon barrel, stamped with its serial number near the breech, with the matching partial serial also stamped on the frame at the lever pivot. Up front is a simple blade sight, while the tang carries a fully adjustable Vernier-style aperture (peep) sight with dual knurled thumbscrews for windage and elevation — classic long-range target-sighting equipment from the .32-40's heyday as a favorite Schuetzen and mid-range match cartridge. The action is operated by an oversized, gracefully curved loop lever that doubles as the trigger guard, snapping the action open with a smooth, positive motion.
