This example carries the desirable 3" magnum barrel, roll-marked "Winchester — Model 12 — 12 GA. — Full — Winchester Proof Steel — Made in U.S.A." and "For Super Speed & Super-X 3 IN," identifying it as chambered and proofed for Winchester's heavier 3" magnum loads — a sought-after configuration for waterfowl and turkey hunters as well as Model 12 collectors. The serial number is stamped clearly and matches on both the barrel and receiver, confirming the barrel is correct to the gun. The shotgun wears a smooth walnut stock fitted with a period-style recoil pad, along with the classic grooved slide handle, both showing honest, consistent handling wear.
