Argentine Mauser Model 1909 Sporterized Bolt-Action Rifle — DWM Berlin Item: Argentine Mauser Model 1909 Bolt-Action Rifle, Sporterized Caliber: 8mm-06 Manufacturer: Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM), Berlin Finish: Blued barrel and action; black synthetic stock Condition: Excellent, minimal handling wear Handsome sporterized example of the famed Mauser Modelo Argentino 1909 bolt-action rifle, manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken in Berlin — one of the strongest and most influential military bolt actions ever produced, and the direct ancestor of countless commercial sporting rifles. The receiver ring is roll-marked "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1909" alongside "DEUTSCHE WAFFEN- UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN," with an individual serial number stamped on the receiver and a separate number on the barrel shank. This example has been professionally sporterized, retaining the smooth, controlled-round-feed 1909 action prized by riflemen and gunsmiths alike. The rifle now wears a modern black synthetic stock with a checkered pistol grip and forend, a black recoil pad, and sling swivel studs, paired with a deep blued barrel and action. The action is drilled and tapped with a Leupold two-piece scope base already mounted, ready to top with glass. Overall condition is excellent, with clean, crisp markings and only minor handling wear throughout. A great way to own a genuine piece of Mauser history in a practical, field-ready package — the classic 1909 action built by the original license-holder, DWM, dressed for the modern hunter.
