The receiver is engraved in gold-filled script "Model 1895" within a scrollwork banner, while the barrel is stamped "Savage Arms, Westfield, Mass., U.S.A., Patented Feb. 7, 1893" and "Hi-Pressure Steel — Proof-Tested — Cal. .308 Win.," with an individual serial number stamped on the barrel. A separate gold-tone "Savage Arms Co." medallion featuring an Indian-head profile and "75th Anniversary" inscription is inlaid directly into the buttstock, echoing Savage's iconic early-20th-century trademark. The rifle wears a bright, nicely figured walnut stock and forearm with fine checkering panels, set off by a brass-toned lever, buttplate, and trigger guard that give this commemorative edition its distinctive look.
