Ruger M77 Bolt-Action Rifle, .338 Win. Mag. — Bicentennial-Dated, Custom Camo Stock Item: Ruger M77 Bolt-Action Rifle Caliber: .338 Winchester Magnum Manufacturer: Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., Southport, CT Finish: Blued barrel and action; custom hand-applied camouflage-pattern synthetic stock Condition: Good to very good, honest field wear (stock finish shows chipping/loss consistent with hard use) Rare, early Ruger M77 bolt-action rifle chambered in the big-game-stopping .338 Winchester Magnum, roll-marked "Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc., Southport, Conn. U.S.A." and "Ruger M77," with an individual serial number stamped on the receiver. The barrel additionally carries the special "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty" inscription, dating this rifle's production to Ruger's 1976 U.S. Bicentennial run — a detail that adds a distinct layer of collector interest beyond the rifle's already desirable magnum chambering. The rifle has been finished in a striking hand-applied camouflage pattern over a durable synthetic-style stock, with a mottled gray-green base and dark fern/leaf silhouettes, a checkered pistol grip and forend, and a black rubber recoil pad. The action features Ruger's classic controlled-round-feed bolt with a Mauser-style extractor and a hinged floorplate, all set against a deep blued barrel and action.
