SAKO AV Left-Hand Bolt Action Rifle — .300 Win Mag — Deluxe Engraved Finnbear — Made in Finland Lot Description: Up for auction is a beautifully preserved Sako Model AV bolt-action centerfire rifle, chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, built for a left-handed shooter (LH action) and manufactured in Finland. This is a highly desirable variant from Sako's golden era of sporting rifle production, combining old-world craftsmanship with the accuracy Sako is famous for. A great addition for collectors of vintage Sako firearms, Finnish-made sporting rifles, or left-hand action rarities. Markings & Identification: Receiver roll-marked: "SAKO AV LH 631670" with the Sako crest/proof mark Barrel roll-marked: "SAKO CAL. .300 WIN. MAG. MADE IN FINLAND" with the Sako reindeer-head logo Left-hand (LH) bolt action — genuinely scarce configuration, especially in this caliber Features: Rich walnut stock with attractive grain figure and a hand-oiled/polished finish Skip-line (fleur-de-lis) point checkering on the pistol grip and forend in excellent, crisp condition Rosewood forend tip with white spacer accent Black grip cap and black recoil pad with white spacer line for classic Sako styling Deep, glossy hammer-forged blued barrel and action in excellent condition with strong bore/finish preservation Factory-engraved floorplate, featuring a finely detailed game animal head (chamois/ibex motif) surrounded by scrollwork foliate engraving — a hallmark of Sako's deluxe-grade rifles of this period Fitted with quick-detach style scope rings (period-correct claw/lever mounts) ready for optics Classic Sako AV (medium-length) action with hinged floorplate and controlled-feed bolt Condition: Overall excellent condition for its age.
