The surface presents substantial impasto with heavily layered and directional applications of pigment throughout the sky, landscape, and vegetation. Minor surface wear and handling marks consistent with age and display may be present. The canvas appears stable and display-ready, retaining its vivid coloration, pronounced texture, and overall visual impact. Presented in an ornate gold-tone frame showing light age-related wear. Provenance: From a private collection in Tampa, Florida. According to verbal history, the work was purchased from the contents of a New York estate in 2002 and transported to Florida shortly thereafter, where it remained in private hands. No supporting documentation accompanied the work upon consignment. This provenance reflects the ownership history supplied when the artwork was received for cataloging.
