Autographed 1988 / 1990 TV Sports Mailbag Brooks Robinson MLB Hall Of Fame Induction 8X10 Stat Sheets (Limited Edition Of 1000) (2 Signatures Total). Featuring two different photographic designs and two bold Brooks Robinson signatures commemorating one of the greatest defensive players in baseball history. Both pieces celebrate Robinson's July 31, 1983 induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, pairing colorful images of the Baltimore Orioles legend with a detailed presentation of his career statistics. The 1988 example is identified as a Limited Edition of 1,000, while the companion 1990 issue presents an alternate portrait and design, giving the grouping excellent visual variety while maintaining the same Hall of Fame theme. Robinson spent his entire 23 season Major League career with the Baltimore Orioles from 1955 through 1977, becoming so synonymous with spectacular defense at third base that he earned the nickname "The Human Vacuum Cleaner." An extraordinary 18 time All Star and 16 consecutive Gold Glove Award winner, Robinson helped transform Baltimore into an American League powerhouse, winning World Series championships in 1966 and 1970, the 1964 American League MVP Award, and the 1970 World Series MVP Award after a legendary defensive performance against the Cincinnati Reds that remains one of the defining moments of his career. He retired with 2,848 hits, 268 home runs and 1,357 RBI, but it was his unmatched glove work, durability and lifelong association with the Orioles that cemented his place among baseball's immortals. Robinson passed away in 2023, permanently limiting the supply of authentic signatures from the beloved Hall of Famer.
