This is 34" Hand-Carved Native American Bear Shaman Log Sculpture. Handcrafted directly into a solid section of tree trunk measuring nearly 3 feet tall and 9.25" diameter, this piece features a deeply recessed relief depicting a warrior or shaman crowned with a detailed bear headdress and wearing a bear-paw medallion. The carving makes expert use of the wood's natural grain, knots, and weathered bark side, finished with a rich gloss stain and dark burnished accents It displays naturalage-appropriate seasoning checks (vertical wood splits) that enhance its rustic character. There is some minor wood chipping/loss along the bottom rim base edge (see photo 1), though the statue stands upright securely and stably. Carving remains crisp and vibrant throughout.
