1971 Nathan Oliveira For Morrison

This 1971 offset-printed poster features Bay Area Figurative Movement artist Nathan Oliveira's striking 1966 monochrome lithograph, Head of a Young Man. Created following the death of rock icon Jim Morrison in July 1971, the image depicts a haunting face emerging from heavy shadow, enclosed by a red border with hand-lettered text reading "For Morrison" across the bottom. Printed in San Francisco, the piece retains its printed signature and union printer logo along the lower edge. Lightcreasing, small thumbtack holes on each corner are present, there is small scuffing and minor edge wear appear consistent with age.
