Vintage Cast Iron Grapevine Garden Bench - 56"

This substantial vintage cast iron garden bench features an elaborate Grapevine pattern with deeply cast grape clusters, broad vine leaves, curling tendrils, and extensive pierced openwork detailing the back and arms. The three-seat bench exhibits agently curved form, with decorative scrollwork panels making up the seat and ornate cast legs displaying additional grape-and-leaf motifs along with wide foliate feet. Its design reflects a Victorian garden furniture style that rose to prominence inthe mid-19th century and continued in American and European foundries through the early-to-mid 20th century. Constructed from multiple fitted cast sections with visible stretcher supports beneath, the bench is heavy and assembled for outdoor durability. It retains an older white-painted finish showing paint loss, oxidation, surface rust, and outdoor weathering.
