LLADR PORCELAIN FIGURINE - "SE LAS DARA A MAM", No. 5.554, GLOSS FINISH, SEATED GIRL WITH FLOWERS, WITH ORIGINAL BOX The third Lladr piece from this estate, and the sweetest of the three. A seated young girl in a wide-brimmed pale hat, long braids tied with cream bows, a blue button-front dress, and a full pink skirt decorated with a coral scroll and blue floral panel, sits on a molded gray rock cradling a bunch of white and pink blossoms in her lap. The applied flowers are individually modeled. Finished in the glossy Brillo glaze rather than matte, which keeps the pastel colors bright. The underside carries the blue printed LLADR bell-flower backstamp reading LLADR, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, with the impressed model number 5554, and it comes with its original gray Lladr box from Valencia, Espaa, with the printed end label reading Brillo, N. 5.554, and Se las dara a mam, along with the original packing card. Sold as one figurine with its original box. Description Lladr hand-painted glazed porcelain figurine of a young girl seated on a molded gray-brown rock, knees together, holding a gathered bunch of flowers in both hands in her lap. She wears a wide-brimmed pale gray and white hat tilted back, two long light brown braids tied with cream bows, a blue long-sleeved button-front dress with a small collar, and a full pale pink skirt spread over the rock and decorated with a coral scroll border enclosing a blue and cream floral panel, with one blue shoe showing at the hem. The flower bunch is made up of individually applied white and pale pink blossoms with green foliage, the most delicate element on the piece. Reverse shows the plain blue back of the dress, the underside of the hat brim, and the textured gray rock seat. The underside is marked with the blue printed Lladr bell-flower logo, LLADR, and HAND MADE IN SPAIN, with the impressed model number 5554 alongside it, plus a small factory vent hole and additional faint impressed marks that are not fully legible in the photograph. Original box included, a gray Lladr carton printed with the bell-flower LLADR logo and VALENCIA - ESPAA, with a printed end label showing a photograph of the figure and reading Brillo, N. 5.554, Se las dara a mam, and a barcode, plus the original inner packing and a small printed Spanish packing insert card reading EMBALADOR / A-2/A2 with claim instructions. The box is taped closed with old tape on several panels. No tape-measure photograph was provided for this lot, so no measured height is claimed. Judged against the box in the photographs, the figure stands in the range of roughly 7 to 8 inches tall, but that is a rough visual estimate only and bidders should confirm the size for model 5554 independently rather than relying on it. Attribution note Lladr is the Spanish porcelain house founded by the brothers Juan, Jos, and Vicente Lladr near Valencia in the 1950s, known worldwide for pastel-glazed figures of children, women, and animals.
