A barefoot young woman in a long white classical gown strides forward with her hair falling loose over one shoulder, carrying a shallow basket of applied pink, coral, and peach blossoms with green leaves cradled in both arms at her waist. Her gown is trimmed at the hem and sleeve cuffs with a pale blue Greek key border, she walks over a green-washed grassy oval base, and a broken fluted classical column rises at the back of the base to set the Athenian theme. Finished in the soft white, cream, and pale blue Lladr palette with the flowers hand-applied petal by petal. The underside carries the blue printed LLADR backstamp reading PRIVILEGE SOCIETY with a year line, the impressed model number 7704, and two small round factory paper dots printed 811 03 and 295 03. It comes with its original silver-gray Lladr PRIVILEGE carton with the black and gold PRIVILEGE seal label and the two-part black foam insert. Stands approximately 10 inches tall. Sold as one figurine with its original box. Description Lladr hand-painted glazed porcelain figurine of a standing young woman in a long flowing white classical gown, mid-stride with the skirt gathered and swept behind her, both feet bare and one heel lifted off the base. Long auburn hair worn loose, falling forward over the right shoulder in the front views and streaming back in the side view; head tilted down toward the flowers with a soft downcast expression. Both arms extended and curled around a shallow oval basket modeled in soft terracotta-pink, filled with hand-applied blossoms in pink, coral, peach, and cream with green leaves and buds; a length of the gown's fabric drapes across the basket. Gown trimmed with a pale blue Greek key band at the hem and at both sleeve cuffs, the detail that ties the piece to its classical title. Shallow irregular oval base washed in green and cream to read as grass, with a broken fluted column on a stepped plinth at the rear and small modeled foliage at the front edge. The underside is marked with the blue printed Lladr bell-flower logo and LLADR, with the line beneath reading PRIVILEGE SOCIETY followed by a year and a MADE IN SPAIN and DAISA copyright line that is small and only partly legible in the photograph, together with the impressed model number 7704 and two small round paper factory dots printed 811 03 and 295 03. The year in the Privilege Society line reads as 2004 in the photograph but is small enough that it should be confirmed in hand. Original box included, a silver-gray Lladr carton printed overall with the bell-flower logo, LLADR and PRIVILEGE in tone-on-tone lettering and www.lladro.com, with a gold and black
