LLADR PORCELAIN BALLERINA - "EL PRIMER BALLET" / "PERFECT PERFORMANCE", No. 07641, 1995 EVENT FIGURINE, WITH ORIGINAL BOX The fifth Lladr piece from this estate and the standout of the group. A young ballerina in a white tutu stands beside a small stool, head bowed, hands clasped at her chest around a tiny yellow rosebud, one foot forward in a pointe shoe, her gray practice wrap draped over the stool behind her. The tutu is modeled in crisp ruffled tiers, the oval base is finished with a molded parquet or tile pattern, and the whole piece is done in the soft cream, blush, gray, and white Lladr palette. The underside carries the blue printed LLADR backstamp with HAND MADE IN SPAIN and the DAISA copyright line, the impressed model number 7641, and the black circular stamp reading LLADR 1995 EVENT FIGURINE. It comes with its original gray Lladr box from Valencia, Espaa, with the printed end label reading 07641, EL PRIMER BALLET, PERFECT PERFORMANCE, and barcode 7 37859 07641 1, with the original foam packing. Stands approximately 10 inches tall. Sold as one figurine with its original box. Description Lladr hand-painted glazed porcelain figurine of a standing young ballerina in a white tutu with a fitted bodice and multi-tiered ruffled skirt, the ruffle edges finely modeled and slightly translucent. Head bowed and turned down, hair pulled into a neat ballerina bun, hands clasped together at the chest holding a small yellow and pink rosebud. Bare arms and shoulders, legs modeled in fine detail with pale pink pointe shoes with ribbon ties, one foot forward. A small turned-leg stool stands behind her with a gray-lavender practice wrap or shawl draped over it and falling to the base. Shallow oval base glazed pale gray-green with a molded honeycomb or parquet floor pattern and a decorative molded border band. The underside is marked with the blue printed Lladr bell-flower logo and LLADR, with the smaller lines reading HAND MADE IN SPAIN and a DAISA copyright, the impressed model number 7641, a black circular ink stamp reading LLADR 1995 EVENT FIGURINE, and additional faint impressed factory marks that are only partly legible in the photograph. Original box included, a gray Lladr carton printed with the bell-flower LLADR logo and VALENCIA - ESPAA, with a printed end label showing a photograph of the figure and reading B, 07641, EL PRIMER BALLET, PERFECT PERFORMANCE, with barcode 7 37859 07641 1, and with the original white foam end blocks present. Stands approximately 10 inches tall per the tape-measure photograph, in which the tape is stood on the carpet beside the figure rather than fixed to it, so the height is a close estimate. Bidders should verify all dimensions from the photographs. Attribution note Lladr is the Spanish porcelain house founded by the brothers Juan, Jos, and Vicente Lladr near Valencia in the 1950s. DAISA is the group entity holding the design copyrights, and the DAISA line in the backstamp is a design copyright date rath
