THREE VINTAGE COCA-COLA INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE BELL GLASSES - FIVE LANGUAGES Three matching vintage Coca-Cola fountain glasses in the classic bell or flair shape, with the flared rim, pinched waist, and heavy pressed base of the traditional soda-fountain tumbler. Each glass is printed all the way around with the Coca-Cola trademark rendered in five different languages, each panel labeled in small English capitals beneath the script: ENGLISH with "Enjoy Coca-Cola / Trade-mark ", CHINESE, JAPANESE with "Enjoy ", HEBREW, and ARABIC with "Enjoy" above the Arabic script. The lettering is a warm gold-tan applied color that reads well against clear glass and photographs handsomely with a light behind it. A recognizable Coca-Cola collectible with international appeal, good for a soda-fountain or diner display shelf, a Coke advertising collection, or actual everyday use. All three show applied-color fading and wear, described below. Sold as a lot of three glasses. Description Three clear pressed-glass bell-form fountain tumblers, flared rim, waisted body, thick pressed base. Each measures approximately 5-1/2 inches tall and approximately 3-1/4 to 3-1/2 inches across the rim per the tape-measure photographs. In the height photograph the tape hook plate is standing on the tabletop beside the glass rather than hooked on the piece, and in the diameter photograph the tape is laid across the top of the rim, so both figures are close estimates. Bidders should verify all dimensions from the photographs. Decoration: the Coca-Cola trademark in five languages encircling each glass, with the language names printed in small capitals - English, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Arabic - in gold-tan applied color. The English panel includes "Enjoy Coca-Cola / Trade-mark "; the Japanese and Arabic panels are headed "Enjoy" in English. No maker name or capacity marking is legible in the photographs of the bases, so no manufacturer is claimed. Attribution note Coca-Cola issued these multi-language fountain glasses as promotional and licensed drinkware, and the collector market widely dates them to the mid to late 1970s and 1980s, with many sellers on Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, and Ruby Lane specifically listing the five-language English, Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic version as a 1976 issue. The same design appears in both a gold-tan and a white applied-color version and in several sizes, with sellers reporting capacities ranging from roughly 8 to 12 ounces and heights around 5 inches; some examples are marked only with a single letter such as an "S" on the base. Because these were made in large quantities over several years by more than one glass supplier, an exact year, plant, or capacity cannot be established from photographs alone. Collector reference works on Coca-Cola glassware, notably the Petretti Coca-Cola Collectibles price guide, catalog the bell-shaped fountain glass forms in detail for buyers who want to compare variants. Identification and dating are off
