The frame is bright chrome-finished wire bent into three interlocking rings with scrolled feet, rising to a central tapered wood handle in a warm reddish-brown grain consistent with teak. Three matching stainless steel bowls with rolled rims drop into the rings and lift out for filling and cleaning. The clean lines, the wire-and-wood combination, and the tapered Danish-style handle all place this squarely in the Scandinavian-influenced barware and serving pieces of the 1950s through the 1970s. Excellent for olives, pickles, nuts, chips and dips, sauces, or divided relish service, and it also works as a small desk or vanity organizer. The bowls are loose in the frame by design, so the set separates into four pieces for washing. No maker mark, country stamp, or paper label is visible in any photograph, so no manufacturer is claimed. Sold as a lot of four pieces total, one frame and three bowls. Description One chrome-finished bent-wire frame with three bowl rings, scrolled feet, and a central tapered wood handle. Three matching stainless steel bowls, straight-tapered sides with rolled rims and slightly domed bases, all of the same size. Overall height approximately 7 inches to the top of the wood handle per the tape-measure photograph, and overall span across the three-bowl cluster approximately 7-1/2 to 8 inches. In both photographs the tape hook plate is standing on the tabletop or laid on top of the piece rather than hooked over an edge, so both figures are close estimates. Each bowl measures approximately 3-1/4 to 3-1/2 inches across the rim and approximately 1-3/4 inches tall per the tape-measure photographs, with the same hook-placement caveat. Bidders should verify all dimensions from the photographs. Wood handle appears to be solid turned and tapered with a flat angled top, showing straight grain and a natural finish. No maker's mark or stamp is legible in any photograph; the undersides of the bowls are not shown, so a mark may exist there. Attribution note Serving pieces combining chrome or stainless wire frames, teak or teak-look wood handles, and removable stainless bowls were produced in very large numbers during the mid-century period, both by Scandinavian makers and by American housewares firms working in the Danish modern idiom, with names such as Vollrath, Kromex, and numerous Japanese and Danish import lines appearing on similar caddies. Stainless-and-teak service sets were a housewarming and wedding-gift staple through the 1960s and 1970s. Without a visible stamp, an exact maker, country of origin, and date cannot be established, and the wood is identified as teak or teak-like on appearance only rather than by testing. I
