PAIR OF DISNEY MICKEY MOUSE "BREAK TIME" CLEAR GLASS COFFEE MUGS Two matching clear pressed-glass coffee mugs decorated with the well-known Disney "BREAK TIME" office-worker Mickey graphic. Each mug is the classic heavy diner-style form with straight sides, a thick pressed base, and a sturdy applied loop handle. The decoration is a fired-on color transfer showing Mickey Mouse in a blue business suit and white gloves, seated at a desk stacked with paperwork, framed in a blue panel, with the bold blue and black block lettering "BREAK TIME" wrapping the opposite side and thin blue horizontal rules encircling the body like notebook lines. Both mugs carry the printed copyright line " THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY" below the graphic, and the base of each shows a small pressed mold mark in the glass. A cheerful desk-and-kitchen pair for Disneyana collectors, office gag gifting, or everyday coffee and cocoa use. Both show light use wear and minor dot loss in the transfer, detailed below. Sold as a lot of two mugs. Description Two clear pressed-glass mugs, straight-sided diner form with applied loop handles and thick pressed bases. Each measures approximately 3-1/2 inches tall and approximately 3 to 3-1/4 inches across the rim per the tape-measure photograph. The tape hook plate is standing on the tabletop beside the mug rather than hooked on the piece, so the height is a close estimate. Bidders should verify all dimensions from the photographs. Mugs of this pattern are commonly described as 8 ounce capacity. Decoration: fired-on multicolor transfer of suited Mickey Mouse at a paper-piled desk on one side, "BREAK TIME" in blue and black block letters on the reverse, with fine blue encircling lines across the body of both mugs. Printed copyright reads " THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY" in small black capitals beneath the lettering. Bases are clear with a small pressed square mold cartouche visible in the glass; no maker name is legible in the photographs, so no maker is claimed on the strength of the mark itself. Attribution note Mugs of this exact form and graphic are widely offered in the collector market as Anchor Hocking glass mugs made in the USA under Disney license, generally dated to the 1980s, and typically listed at 8 ounces. Anchor Hocking, of Lancaster, Ohio, formed in 1937 from the merger of the Hocking Glass Company and the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation, produced large quantities of licensed character glassware in both clear and milk glass, including several Disney and Pepsi promotional series, and its mugs are normally marked with the anchor-in-H logo and "USA" on the base. Listings on Etsy, Mercari, Ruby Lane, and eBay repeatedly describe this "Break Time" Mickey mug as Anchor Hocking USA. One useful dating detail: Disney merchandise was marked "Walt Disney Productions" before the corporate name change and "The Walt Disney Company" afterward, so the copyright line printed on these mugs points to later production rather than the earliest iss
