Three Southern folk art vessels. The left jug by Steve Turpin of Gillsville, Georgia features a distinctive "winky" expression with one bulging eye and one squinting eye. The middle miniature jug by Marie Rogers of Meansville, Georgia has a squat form, bulging clay eyes, a broad toothy grin, and a glossy brown slip glaze. The right decanter by an unidentified contemporary potter features multiple sculpted eyes, a textured body, and a speckled brown and olive-green tobacco-spit glaze.
