Sederl and Lorenz collaborated on this 1862 percussion rifle-musket, a significant firearm featuring a raised cheek rest and original ladder sight. Marked TH. SEDERL and dated 862, this military import retains its full-length stock andiron ramrod. The piece represents a key infantry tool from the Civil War era. Note - As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.This antique displays a dark brown patina and surface oxidation expected for its age. The wooden stock remains solid with crisp edges around the cheek rest and bold markings on the metalwork.
