W. M. Moore and Co. produced this side-by-side percussion shotgun, a classic 19th-century muzzleloading fowling piece with dual hammers. The lock plates display the maker's mark WM MOORE & Co verbatim. The dark checkered wood stock retainsa wooden ramrod beneath the barrels. Note - As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.This antique piece retains a bold patina with expected oxidation and pitting. The stock checkering remains crisp, reflecting its natural age and character for the period.
