This Belgian single-shot percussion boxlock boot pistol features a screw-off round barrel and a centrally mounted hammer. The iron frame and tang are decorated with scrolled floral engraving, extending toward the folding trigger. Anornately hand-carved hardwood grip displays a deep herringbone pattern. No maker marks are visible and the caliber is approximately .40. Serial number: [not visible].Metal surfaces exhibit a dark grey patina with oxidation and light pitting. The decorative wood grip shows minor handling marks and a small chip at the top left frame joint. Trigger functions.
