This contemporary muzzleloading flintlock pistol features a round steel barrel with decorative breech rings and a full-length wood stock. The lock plate is stamped TOWER and centered with a crown over GR. Polished brass furniture includesa heavy butt cap, trigger guard, and side plate, with a steel belt hook mounted opposite the lock. Struck barrel markings include a crown over crossed scepters, a broad arrow.Metal components show surface oxidation and light pitting. The wood stock exhibits minor handling marks. The ramrod is missing from the pipe. A flint is present in the cock with a lead shim.
