Vintage set of six Mexican sterling silver and glass cordial/liqueur glasses, each featuring a removable clear glass insert fitted into an ornate openwork silver holder with raised floral and foliate decoration. Each assembled cordial measures approximately 3" tall. Silver holder measures approximately 2" tall, 2" diameter at the opening, and 1.5" diameter at the base. Glass opening measures approximately 1.25" diameter. All six glass inserts are present and removable. Silver displays natural tarnish/patina and age-related surface wear. See photos for full details. The underside appears hallmarked “MEXICO” and “925,” supporting sterling silver construction rather than silverplate. This style of Mexican sterling cordial ware is generally associated with mid-century Taxco/Mexican silversmith production; comparable examples commonly date from approximately the 1940s–1970s. Removing the glass out of a few of the cordials, the sterling weighed in at about 12-13 grams each. We assume over 70 grams of sterling.
