Vintage set of six Mexican sterling silver overlay cordial/liqueur glasses with clear removable glass inserts. Five glasses share a closely matching design with flared pedestal bases, ball-form stems, and elaborate openwork floral/fruit decoration surrounding the cylindrical glass cups. The sixth is a slightly different design with a narrower stem and darker patina, making this best described as an assembled set of six rather than a perfectly matched set. The bases bear Mexican silver hallmarks; the photographed marks appear consistent with Mexican sterling production, although the maker's mark is not sufficiently clear in the photos to confidently attribute the pieces to a specific silversmith. Comparable Mexican sterling-overlay cordial glasses were produced throughout the 20th century and are collectible examples of Mexican silver barware. All six retain their clear glass inserts. The silver shows substantial natural tarnish/patina, oxidation and surface wear, particularly on the sixth glass. The openwork decoration appears generally intact from the photographs. See photos for full details. Total weight is 181 grams with the glass inside. Two of the 6 have glass broken in them.
