Beautiful signed Mata Ortiz pottery olla by Laura Quezada, featuring a warm natural terracotta clay body decorated with intricate cream-colored geometric and feather-inspired designs. The hand-painted pattern wraps around the rounded vessel and incorporates fine-line details, stepped geometric elements, sweeping curves, and repeating motifs characteristic of Mata Ortiz pottery from Chihuahua, Mexico. The underside is hand signed “Laura Quezada.” This decorative Mexican pottery olla measures approximately 10" tall x 7.5" wide with a 3.25" opening. The piece has a graceful rounded form with a flared rim and polished surface that beautifully complements the contrasting cream decoration. A striking example of Southwestern pottery, Mexican folk art, Mata Ortiz ceramics, and contemporary Native-inspired Southwest décor, ideal for a pottery collection or as a statement accent piece. Preowned condition with minor surface wear consistent with handling and display. Please review all photographs closely for condition and craftsmanship. See photos for details and condition.
