Unknown Maker Model Hammer Double

R Serial # 4399. 16 Ga hammer fired double barrel shotgun with 30” Damascus barrels. The bores are good, mostly clean and grainy with light dust/fouling. The barrels are both choked Cylinder and Imp. Modified. Made in Belgium. The metal finish on the Damascus barrels is a rusty brown patina. No markings on the barrel rib or receiver. The metal finish on the engraved receiver, trigger guard and lock plates is in very good condition, it is mostly a gray patina with older cleaned rust in spots with some areas taking on a brown patina. The checkered forearm has a unique swinging lever release and is in very good condition showing some light marks with finish wear. The matching checkered walnut butt stock with a large cheek rest is in very good condition showing scattered light dings and scratches with finish wear. Bone grip behind the trigger guard. European style swivels. Rusty steel butt plate. The action does not work properly; the rear hammer will not lock back. C&R.
