Remington Model 12-A

R Serial # 538563. .22 Sh-L-LR caliber pump action rifle with a 22” round barrel. The bore is fair, mostly clean with good rifling with some roughness/corrosion and some light fouling. Tubular magazine. Made c. 1920. The metal finish on the barrel, magazine tube and receiver is in fair condition, it is a blotchy brownish gray patina showing thinning, scratches and patches of rust. The grooved walnut forearm appears to be a homemade replacement and is in good condition showing light marks with scratches and finish wear. There is one action screw missing, the hole has been filled with epoxy. The plain walnut butt stock is in very good condition showing light scuffs and scratches with finish wear. Plastic butt plate is broken. Original rear sight, the front sight is a replacement. The action works fine. Made from 1909-1936. C&R.
