Serial # NSN. Approx. 24 Ga black powder muzzle loading percussion fired double barrel shotgun with 33” Damascus barrels. The bores are good with light rust. No markings on the barrel or lock plates except for Belgian proof marks. The metal finish on the Damascus barrels is a worn brown patina with thinning, scratches and pitting around the nipples. There is a large dent in the left barrel and a silver soldered patch on the right barrel. The plain frame/lock plates and the engraved hammers are a worn brown patina. The plain walnut half-stock held with a wedge has been cleaned and is in fair to good condition showing scattered light marks with finish wear. There is a crack at the nose and a repair on both sides of the forearm. Engraved brass butt plate, trigger guard and barrel ferrules. The action seems to work OK, it is a bit sluggish. Includes a wood ram rod.
