R Serial # 20605. 20 Ga. pump action shotgun with a 25” barrel. The bore is fair, dirty with light pitting. The barrel is choked Cylinder. Made in 1913. The chamber should be checked as the gun was made before the 2-3/4” chamber was standardized. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in fair condition; it is a dark gray patina with large patches that have been aggressively cleaned to near bare metal. The magazine tube shows heavy action wear. The metal finish on the receiver is a partially cleaned dark gray patina showing edge wear, carry wear and thinning with scratches. There is a former owners ID number etched into the inside of the trigger guard. The grooved walnut forearm and the matching plain butt stock are in good condition showing scattered dings and scratches with finish wear. Plastic butt plate with an LoP of 13-1/2”. The action works fine. C&R.
