A vintage pressed steel toy vehicle manufactured by Li'l Beaver, accompanied by a Pokey character figure produced by Lakeside Industries. The Jeep features a yellow painted body with a white plastic moulded interior and rear cargo bed. The vehicle sits on two metal axles with four black rubber tyres featuring white-wall inserts. The tyres are embossed with the text Li'l Beaver and Made in Canada. Each hubcap features an embossed B logo. Decorative decals are applied to the bonnet and side panels, reading Gumby's Jeep and Pokey respectively. The Pokey figure is constructed from a flexible red-orange rubber material with painted black and white detailing to the mane, tail, and eyes. The underside of the figure is embossed with the mark © Lakeside Ind. Inc. 1965. Length approx. 23 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The Jeep exhibits significant signs of play wear and age, including widespread paint loss, scratching, and chipping to the yellow finish. The metal axles show surface oxidation and rust. The white plastic interior components are heavily soiled with grime and staining. The decals are present but show wear and lifting at the edges. The Pokey figure is in fair condition with surface grime and black scuff marks, notably on the legs and underside. The accompanying Gumby figure is not present, and the lot is offered without original packaging.
