VTG Mattel Skipper Dolls in Carrying Case

This lot consists of a collection of vintage Mattel dolls and accessories featuring the character Skipper, housed in a blue vinyl carrying case. The group includes two vinyl dolls with jointed limbs and rooted brunette synthetic hair. Both dolls feature painted blue side-glancing eyes. One doll is marked on the lower back with © 1963 Mattel Inc. The clothing collection includes various garments, some with original labels including Skipper © 1963 Mattel and Skipper. Notable items include a red velvet coat with white lining and gold-tone bead buttons, a yellow cotton dress with a black floral pattern and white trim, a red sleeveless dress with gold-tone buttons, a pink fleece-style robe with a cat applique, a pink floral nightgown, and a white petticoat with red and gold lace trim. Also present are several hand-knitted items in blue, purple, and yellow. The lot is accompanied by a paper booklet titled The World of Barbie Fashions by Mattel, dated 1966.
