A collection of Coalport fine bone china teacups and saucers featuring two distinct decorative patterns. The first set is decorated in an underglaze blue maple leaf motif, with large leaves set against a background of delicate foliate scrollwork. The interior of the cup features a continuation of the leaf pattern, and both the cup and saucer are finished with gilded rims and gold accents to the scroll handle and raised foot. This set bears the hand-painted pattern number 4891/A in gold. The second set features a Chinoiserie-style floral pattern depicting a gnarled tree with vibrant pink and blue blossoms, surrounded by further floral sprays. A distinctive brown and gold geometric fret border, in the Greek key style, encircles the interior rim of the cup and the outer edge of the saucer. Both teacups are of a flared form with decorative scroll handles and stand on circular pedestal feet. Each piece is marked to the underside with a green printed Coalport factory mark, comprising a crown symbol between the words MADE IN ENGLAND and COALPORT, above the date A.D. 1750. Condition: The porcelain is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of professional restoration. There is minor, age-appropriate wear to the gilded rims and the undersides of the feet.
