Blue Onion Coffee Canister and Electric Pot

Updated August 27, 2026

Two vintage kitchen pieces. First is a white ceramic instant coffee canister in the blue onion pattern, also sold as Blue Dresden, with blue floral sprays, thin line banding at the shoulder, and INSTANT COFFEE lettered across the front. The domed lid has a blue floral medallion and a cork sealing ring. About six inches tall. Good with a small raised firing flaw at the rim, light staining inside, no chips or cracks found. Second is a four cup electric hot water heater in its original box, printed 4 CUP SIZE, BOILS IN A FEW MINUTES, SAFE TO USE, and JAPAN. The pot is cream porcelain with pink roses, gold trim, three feet, a domed lid with ball finial, and two brass prongs for a detachable cord. The cord is not included. Crazing throughout the glaze, gold wear on the spout and handle, base impressed with a maker mark and JAPAN. Box is worn with torn edges and stapled tabs, graphics still bright. Treat any untested vintage appliance as decorative until checked by a qualified person. Estimated Value: $30 to $60 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
