Philips AZ2045 CD Cassette Radio Boombox

Updated August 27, 2026

Philips portable stereo, model AZ2045, marked on the CD lid. Three source machine with a top loading CD player marked CD REWRITABLE COMPATIBLE, a cassette deck marked CD SYNCHRO START RECORDING so you can dub a disc straight to tape, and an AM FM tuner. The control panel has a 30 PRESET DIGITAL TUNER window, separate BASS, MID and HIGH sliders, a DBB digital dynamic bass boost button, program, mode and preset up and down buttons, a large volume knob and a remote sensor window. Twin front speakers, a molded carry handle, a telescoping antenna and a rear battery compartment, with the two prong power cord attached. The unit does power up. It was photographed running with the display reading TAPE and then TU, so it switches sources. Disc and cassette playback were not tested and no remote control is included. The black plastic is dusty with light scuffs and normal shelf wear. The CD Rewritable Compatible marking means it reads burned CD-R and CD-RW discs, not just factory pressed discs. Estimated Value: $30 to $50 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
