Vintage 1931 Ford Model A phaeton, 2-door convertible. The Model A was made in model years 1928, 29, 30 and 31. These cars were a great improvement over the heavily dated Model T and a transition car to the 1932 Ford V8 powered cars to come. The Model A offered a wide range of body styles from cars to trucks. Changes to the looks of the 1930 to 31 Model A’s made the cars more stylish upscale looking and also changed from 21” to 19” wheels. The phaeton was one of the most stylish body styles offered that year. This car is an older restoration with some age wear throughout. Car has added features such as dual side mount spart tires in the front fenders, cowl lights, front radiator shell gravel guard and accessory rear mounted trunk. Tires look to be good. Car looks to be complete and ready to go but has not been started. With the mechanical simplicity of these cars and the complete group of replacement parts available, this should be an easy car to get back on the road.
