Awesome selection of a “Highway One” Stratocaster guitar, produced by Fender for your musical enjoyment. The guitar purposely holds naturalistic sensibilities as it was finished in a thin satin acrylic lacquer that lacks a topcoat. As the finish is semi-transparent, the wood grain of the guitar’s alder body distinctly shines through, giving the guitar an intended look of rustic wear. Fender’s core intention for this series was to create a guitar that felt like a “favorite worn baseball glove” right out of the box. The aesthetic purposely avoids the “overly shiny” look of standard models, designed to “show battle scars” with the further use of the guitar. The guitar gives off a warm, fuller tone with natural sustain but is also versatile, with the ability to play in multiple genres.
