A pair of ornate sterling silver bon bon or nut spoons featuring intricate ajouré pierced handles and blades in a Rococo-revival style. One handle reverse is impressed with the maker name SILVERCRAFT and STERLING while the second spoon is marked STERLING. The design incorporates scrolling acanthus foliage and floral blossoms throughout the openwork. Each spoon measures 5.25 inches in length with a combined weight of 1.910 OZT. Items exhibit expected surface tarnishing and oxidation within the intricate pierced decoration (photo 1). The metalwork is structurally sound with no visible breaks or repairs. Minor surface scratches are present on the reverse consistent with age.
