This Art Nouveau sterling silver serving spoon features an ornate pierced bowl decorated with repoussé leaves and berry clusters. The handle displays high-relief foliate motifs flowing into a tapered stem with a mirrored design on the reverse. Stamped marks on the back of the handle include STERLING followed by a lion passant, an anchor, and a Gothic letter G for the Gorham Manufacturing Company, alongside model number H 228. It measures 5 inches long and weighs 1.320 OZT. This antique server is in good condition with expected tarnish throughout (photo 1). Light surface scuffs and one spot of oxidation near the neck are present (photo 7). The intricate pierced bowl remains structurally sound with no visible breaks.
