Two American sterling silver bonbon spoons featuring scrolled openwork pierced bowls. One is a Watson White House and Washington souvenir spoon for Daniel Low and Co. depicting Mount Vernon, while the other is a Whiting spoon with a fleur-de-lis terminal handle. Impressed marks include a script Dw, a lion passant, an anchor, a gothic G, and Sterling. The spoons measure 4.5 and 5 inches and have a combined weight of 1.245 OZT. Both spoons show expected tarnishing and light surface scratches consistent with antique use (photo 1). The pierced decoration and relief-work remain crisp with no visible damage, bends, or previous repairs evident (photo 12).
