One souvenir spoon features a witch finial and SALEM banner, with marks for retailer DANIEL LOW and the Gorham Manufacturing Co. The second spoon has a double-helix handle and scrolling finial with British hallmarks including a lion rampant and 925. Both pieces are monogrammed with decorative pierced bowls. The Salem spoon is 4.6 inches long, the other is 5 inches long, and they have a total weight of 1.130 OZT. Both items exhibit no visible breaks to the delicate pierced open-work (photo 1). Natural tarnish is present in the recessed areas, which is expected for antique silver (photo 5). Structure is sound with no deformations observed.
