A trio of Whiting & Co sterling silver bonbon spoons features pierced foliate lattice bowls and scalloped edges. Two pieces are designed with cast pansy terminals, while the third is decorated with a colorful enameled floral motif. The reverse of each handle is impressed with the word STERLING and a griffin hallmark. They measure 4.5 and 4.75 inches in length and have a total weight of 1.270 OZT. The set exhibits expected surface tarnish and light scratches consistent with age (photo 1). The enameled spoon displays small areas of wear at the center of the blossom (photo 6).
