A pair of sterling silver servers by R. Wallace & Sons is decorated in the elaborate Rose pattern. The handles and scalloped bowls feature deep repoussé floral motifs and intricate pierced openwork centers. The reverse of each handle is marked R.W. & Co. Sterling with a patent date of 1898. Both pieces are 4.75 inches long and weigh 1.240 OZT. The servers exhibit expected surface tarnishing consistent with age (photo 1). Fine surface scratches from use are visible on the bowl interiors (photo 3). The pierced designs remain intact without bends or losses.
