A sterling silver bon bon spoon by Wall & Dougherty of Honolulu featuring a detailed hibiscus flower bowl with pierced petals and a raised stamen. The organic vine handle terminates in open-work lettering spelling HONOLULU. The reverse neck is stamped STERLING, COPYRIGHT BY, WALL & DOUGHERTY, and HONOLULU. It measures 5 3/8 inches long with a 2.5 inch wide bowl and weighs 1.115 OZT. The spoon is in excellent condition with no visible breaks or repairs to the delicate pierced metalwork. There is natural tarnish and oxidation consistent with age, particularly in the recessed areas of the casting (photos 5, 6).
