A pair of Paye & Baker sterling silver spoons featuring ornate Art Nouveau floral patterns including Poppy and Iris designs. One spoon has a solid blossom-form bowl, while the second features an elaborate pierced openwork bowl. The handles are decorated with trailing repousse blossoms and foliage. Each is stamped with the characters P, &, and B within three hearts followed by the word STERLING. One is 5.25 inches long and the other is 5.5 inches long, weighing 1.420 OZT. Items are in good antique condition showing characteristic light surface scratches from domestic use. A natural patina is present in the recessed areas of the repousse decoration as expected for silver of this age.
