This early 20th-century optical set was produced by Steinheil in Munich, Germany, and features center-focus construction with upper prism plate stampings that include the "STEINHEIL MÜNCHEN" logo, "6 x 30" designation, serial number "B 13571," and "VL." The binoculars measure 4.25 inches high by 6.5 inches wide (10.8 cm H x 16.5 cm W) and weigh 462 grams (1 lb 0.3 oz), and have black textured body panels over a metal frame. The original leather neck strap remains attached to the body loops. The binoculars have a smooth-operating central hinge and center focus wheel, while the right diopter adjustment is noted to move roughly. The optical channels contain mild internal dust spotting, though viewing remains clear. Painted surfaces and body coverings show factory finish with honest wear and bare metal exposure along the bridge arms.
