This is a landscape-format photo-book, approximately 64 pages, titled Meine Flugzeuge im Grossdeutschen Freiheitskampf (My Aircraft in the Greater German Struggle for Freedom), authored by Ernst Heinkel, who was the founder of the Heinkel Aircraft Works. Published by Wiking Verlag GmbH, Berlin, around 1941, this copy is the 3rd Edition (3. Auflage). The book captures Ernst Heinkel's personal perspective on the performance of his aircraft during the early stages of World War II. Much of the content centers around the Heinkel He 111, the mainstay of the German bomber fleet, with detailed photographs such as those of the He 111 inside a hangar and seen in an overhead tarmac view. The book also features Heinkel's floatplanes, including the He 59 and He 115, which played significant roles in the Norwegian Campaign—a section explicitly titled within. The back cover displays the "Viking" ship logo of Wiking Verlag, a publisher renowned for aviation and military photographic works. It measures 11.75 x 8.3 inches. GE/SW
